Pianist, chamber musician, vocal coach. Dominika Peszko graduated in Musical Studies from The Academy of Music in Krakow – Prof. Andrzej Pikul’s piano class and Prof. Janina Romanska-Werner’s chamber music class. Perfected her skills at masterclasses with acclaimed pianists: Paul Badura-Skoda, Kevin Kenner, Boris Berman, Dina Yoffe and others.
Dominika Peszko was a member of Opera Academy of the National Opera in Warsaw, where she was studying with Helmuth Deutsch, Izabella Klosinska, Anna Marchwinska, Olga Pasiecznik, Eytan Pessen and Matthias Rexroth among others. In 2016 she participated in the ENOA Workshop Rossini at Dutch National Opera in Amsterdam.
Dominika Peszko is the winner of Special Prize for the best pianist during the XIX Imrich Godin International Vocal Competition Iuventus Canti, Vrable, Slovakia (2017), of the 1st Prize as a chamber musician with Blueberry Trio – the International Competition „Premio Speciale – Paolo Serrao” in Italy (2013), of the 3rd Prize as a piano soloist and the 2nd Prize as a chamber musician with Blueberry Trio - the International Competition „Premio Speciale – Paolo Serrao” in Italy (2012) and also of the Golden Award of the International Music Competition Svirel 2012 with Sound Quartet and the 2nd Prize of the International Chopin Tournament in Krakow (2011). She was also a beneficiary of the Scholarship of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage of Poland in 2011 and in 2019. Laureate of Ars Quaerendi Prize (with Małgorzata Walewska as a master).
As a soloist, Dominika performed with Sinfonia Varsovia, Lublin Philharmonic Orchestra, Beethoven Academy Orchestra, Opole Philharmonic Orchestra and many others. Her rich concert repertoire includes premieres of experimental music, oftentimes using multimedia tools. Dominika is a member of an association of performers of contemporary music Muzyka Centrum.
Dominika Peszko is a lecturer at the Vocal Faculty of the Krzysztof Penderecki Academy of Music in Krakow.
