The application stage for the 21st Ada Sari International Vocal Artistry Competition in Nowy Sącz has ended. This year’s edition has attracted an impressive 210 young singers from 40 countries across six continents: Europe, Australia, South America, North America, Asia, and Africa, setting a new record in the history of the Competition.
Candidates, aged 30 or under, submitted recordings showcasing their vocal skills, including the mandatory interpretation of a work by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. All applications will be evaluated by the qualifying committee, composed of distinguished artists and educators: Dr Małgorzata Walewska and Prof. Wojciech Maciejowski.
The list of contestants who have qualified for the 21st Ada Sari International Vocal Artistry Competition in Nowy Sącz will be announced on 26 February 2025. The competition itself will take place from 17 to 24 May 2025 at the organiser’s headquarters, the SOKÓŁ Małopolska Culture Centre in Nowy Sącz. Participants will be assessed by an international jury chaired by Dr Małgorzata Walewska, the Competition’s Artistic Director.
