On 28 October 2022, Professor Helena Łazarska, an outstanding singer (soprano), excellent teacher, creator of the Ada Sari International Festival and Competition of Vocal Art in Nowy Sącz, artistic director and chairwoman of the jury in 1985-2014, a warm friend of the Malopolska Cultural Centre SOKÓŁ, with which she was associated for over thirty years, passed away in Kraków at the age of 88. A person of great culture and kindness towards singers, always serving them with her experience and advice. She brought up a group of wonderful singers who are now successful on stages all over the world.
FUNERAL CEREMONIES
The funeral of Professor Helena Łazarska will take place on Saturday, 12 November, in Dziekanowice (Myślenice district, Dobczyce commune, Małopolskie voivodship).
The order of the ceremony: Sanctuary of the Motherhood of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Dziekanowice: 11:30 a.m. Rosary, 12:00 p.m. Mass, after which the urn with the ashes of the late Professor Helena Łazarska will be carried to the place of eternal rest in the Parish Cemetery in Dziekanowice.
