Mariya Medetova from Kazakhstan has won the Outstanding Performance of the Art Song Award – as decided by the jury of the 21ˢᵗ Ada Sari International Vocal Artistry Competition, chaired by Małgorzata Walewska. The artist received the PLN 3,000 prize for her rendition of Alban Berg’s song cycle "Sieben frühe Lieder".

Eight Singers, Including Six Women and Two Men, to Perform in the Final of the 21ˢᵗ Ada Sari International Vocal Artistry Competition in Nowy Sącz. This was decided today, on Singer’s Day, by the international jury chaired by Małgorzata Walewska. Among the finalists are three singers from Ukraine, two from Poland, and one each from South Korea, Kazakhstan, and Latvia. The largest vocal group consists of sopranos, with the remainder being baritones. Notably, no tenors, basses, or mezzo-sopranos made it to the final.

20 May 2025 in Nowy Sącz will see the commencement of Stage II auditions of the 21ˢᵗ Ada Sari International Vocal Artistry Competition, followed by the Song Competition the next day. We present the order in which the participants qualified for further stages will perform.
